Behavioral Health Solutions

Access our large network of nearby behavioral health providers with options for either in-person or virtual care. The behavioral health benefit offers support for alcohol and drug use recovery, depression, anxiety and stress, coping with grief and loss, relationship difficulties, compulsive habits and disorders and medication management.

The program includes access to a personal Quit Coach®, the Quit For Life app, Text2Quit℠ text messages, an online course and, based on eligibility, quit medications.

Support for parents whose infants are admitted to the NICU

Neonatal Resource Services (NRS) provides a dedicated team of experienced neonatologist & neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurses who can help ensure the right plan of care for the NICU infant  and help facilitate a safe discharge home.

Specialist Management Solutions (SMS) is now available as part of your medical plan through UnitedHealthcare. An SMS Care Advocate can help schedule consults with most specialty providers, connect you with other benefit programs, and serve as a single point of contact throughout your health care journey.  

We can help you find high-quality, lower-cost care. How? SMS partners with providers who perform procedures at an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). ASCs are high-quality, convenient, and may be alternatives to hospitals. This service is voluntary and provided at no additional cost to you.

If you have a special condition, our Centers of Excellence network provides help finding a doctor and medical center as well as help with understanding your illness.

 

The Centers of Excellence (COE) program providers and medical centers are independent contractors who render care and treatment to health plan members. The COE program does not provide direct health care services or practice medicine, and the COE providers and medical centers are solely responsible for medical judgments and related treatments. The COE program is not liable for any act or omission, including negligence, committed by any independent contracted health care professional or medical center.

Asthma Management

Get ongoing 1-on-1 support from a nurse, so you can breathe easier. When you join, you’ll partner with a nurse, who can help you manage your asthma symptoms, create an action plan and take steps to control health care costs.
